Welcome to the AI for Design and Advanced Manufacturing Lab — ADAM Lab！
We explore the integration of AI into both design and manufacturing to create intelligent, autonomous, and physically grounded engineering systems. Design transforms human creativity, knowledge, and requirements into engineering solutions; manufacturing realizes these solutions through materials and processes; and AI accelerates the journey by extending human cognition, perception, and agency.
Our research spans intelligent additive manufacturing, advanced structural and functional materials, agentic AI for science, and physical AI for manufacturing, to advance next-generation design and manufacturing technologies that bridge digital intelligence and physical realization.
